He is 5 and holds up his index finger and shouts double finger if he catches you out on a trick. Something new on me but is it rude?

It is rude im a teacher and my 14 yr olds say it so i cant tell them off for swearing. may be wise to stop him saying it he obviously has picked it up but doesnt really know what it means

I know what he means and yes it is very rude...what he is saying is the index finger times 2...basically holding both your index fingers up in the air and facing it towards the person that you are telling off...do you get it? I am not sure if I made my answer clear or not...:)

Yeah! Double finger refers to a girls crotch in tight pants where you can look right thru,meaning you can put two fingers three or four or drive a truck thru. Also known as a gap. Sorry if it sounds cruel but you wanted to know.

It sounds like he doesn't know how to flip people off properly.

You should probably stop him from doing that before he gets old enough to really offend someone.

he is being naughty, has he got any older siblings or friends who may have taught him this?
my little boy is two n half so look out for my questions in a couple of years when he starts giving me grief lol

I would simply give it no thought and certainly don't let him see you have any concern over it.
If you find out that it IS bad then confront him and tell him IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.
