About 1 in 1,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with autism, and boys are about 4 times more likely than girls to have it.
I am sorry if someone in your family has been diagnosed.
I have a nephew who was diagnosed.
They have had good results with high potency vitamin therapy, and are looking into chelation therapy.

It is getting worse but it is still pretty rare. like one in 156 or something like that. Autism is a terrible condition and I hope there is an effective cure found someday. My cousin is autistic and I spent a year helping an autistic child at school, it is terrible.
