I have ringworm. I want to know if I have to go see a doctor or if I can take care of this myself. Also I need to know how contagious this is!

Ringworm is actually a fungal infection. It is contagious but if you keep it covered, clean, and don't share towels etc. you should be okay. There are over the counter ointments that work great for getting rid of it. Just find one with Tolnaftate in it. This is used for athlete's foot as well.

Good luck!

You shouldn't need to see a doctor. Buy an OTC anti-fungal/athletes foot cream and apply that to the area a few times a day. If it doesn't go away then it may be annular eczema, which just means that it is eczema in a circular pattern. You can use 1% hydrocortisone cream for that.
