First of all, why would you be spending a fortune?? Once your bridesmaids agree to be in your wedding party, they take on the responsibility of purchasing their own attire for the wedding...it is not up to you. It is nice to keep your eye in a certain price range, though, out of courtesy for the ladies...usually between 100-150 works well.
Try picking a company, rather than a dress style...then pick the color of green, peridot, that you like the best. You aren't going to find the exact shade because all companies color their fabrics differently. Incorporate the pink by adding a sash to the dresses. You could even have your MoH in pink (or green) with an alternating sash and have your BMs in the opposite color and sash, that way your MoH stands out a bit more.
Let the ladies pick out the dress that best fits their body type, instead of picking one for them...

If you are choosing one dress style for all of them, the most important thing to remember is to choose dresses that will look good on the body types of ALL the women you selected to be bridesmaids. That means something modest, if any of them are plus sized or religious.
You also may have to check with the house of worship you are getting married in, to investigate if they are any rules (some disallow strapless dresses on women, or require shoulders covered, etc).
A popular and hassle-free thing many brides do these days is just send a color sample to all your bridesmaids of the color you want them to get and they go out and find their own individual gowns in that color (you tell them something like, I want you to all find your own gown in this color and it needs to be a long gown). Then you end up with all the same color, but variations on dress styles and fabric. This also usually makes it less expensive for the bridesmaids, as they can look around for secondhand gowns in that color. Peridot green may be challenging for them to find, but pink should be easy.

Tea length gowns are the best choice for summer weddings and soft, flowing fabrics are also a good choice - chiffon, etc. because they are much cooler in the hot July weather. Something like this: http://www.chryscrossbridal.com/store/WsDefault.asp?One=358 in a pale pink or peridot green would be lovely. You could have your MOH in one color, and the other bridesmaids in the other color for added interest as well. Another nice one is: http://www.chryscrossbridal.com/store/WsDefault.asp?One=357

One thing I saw on the wedding show on Style TV was the bridesmaids had the same color dresses but they each had a different style that flattered them individually. Just a thought. The bridesmaids are supposed to buy their own dresses, by the way, not you.

i in my opinion think of getting married in an unconventional way is amazing! Kudos to you! My greatest question is what are you donning?!?! while you're donning a appropriate known wedding ceremony gown then i could positioned your bridesmaids in known wedding ceremony outfits yet jazz it up with makeup and maybe some wigs. while you're in a gown type of gown then have your bridesmaids in costumes comparable to yours yet a distinctive colour. the girls in waiting is a lovable theory too. yet lower back it surely relies upon on what you're donning. stable success!

yes, my suggestion is wait as long as you can before deciding on a dress. I got married in june and i was so proactive and had everything planned early so when stores released the new spring and summer colors and designs, I had already had my dresses and it was too late. Even if you know your color, you may favor a spring or summer design over what is available now.

go for slim dresses instead of poufy, with little detailing. since these dresses have to fit the tastes of a few different women, classic is the way to go. i think the goal of a bridesmaid dress should be that the woman who has to buy it will be able to wear it again, instead of stashing it deep in her closet after the wedding.

I have seen a lot of weddings now days where the girls wear all different styles but the exact same color. They can get something that they like and looks good on their body.

alfred angelo has mix and match gowns that aren't massively expensive that you could tailor to each bridesmaid and keep the overall theme of your wedding.
