Is he a swimmer? I have one like that. Heavier than she looks but VERY low body fat. Swimmers seem to be particularly dense in their musculature. In the case of serious child athletes, the pediatricians say to ignore all the charts.

The verse is from Genesis 6, "And the Lord suggested, My spirit shall not consistently try with guy, for that he's likewise flesh: yet his days would be an hundred and two decades. there have been giants interior the earth in those days..." (Genesis 6:3-4) yet once you will see the context, God became chatting with the pre-flood people, who have been becoming extra and extra depraved. The context demands that God became chatting with the depraved people of the time. After the flood, many things replaced. Even righteous Abraham, Isaac and Jacob lived longer than a hundred and twenty years. the version is interior the purging of the earth by technique of the flood.

I don't see how a 10 year old could weigh 120 lbs and be "solid" his body is barely producing any androgens so physiologically it is impossible for him to have a high amount of muscle mass.
and yes there are a lot of Dr's out there that do not want to label peoples children as "fat"...they have bills to pay and would like to retain your business

I think your MD would know. If he were 20, was lifting weights and weighed more that would show a higher bmi. BMI does not show muscle weight.. It's not accurate with people with higher levels of body mass.. My 13 yr.old is 5'10" and weighs 140.. He's a runner and does some light weight training, but is not over weight.. you doc. would know your son the best

He may just be a big boy. My boyfriends little boy is 10 also and about 100. He doesn't look fat either. Id get a second opinion or see a nutritionist. If he isn't overweight then you want to make sure to maintain him at a healthy weight with a good diet. He may have special needs. Put him in sports so he can be as active as possble. Who knows? Maybe he'll be in the NFL!

You should be concerned. My son was approximately the same size at the same age. But is now 13 5'9'' and weighs 190lbs. Try to keep his weight under control now. My son isn't sloppy fat but does wear a 34 mens pant.

Is he two feet tall?? I Think he's bmi must be off. There's no way that's possible that a doctor would say that's healthy. I would get a second opinion.

The doc would be honest with you about whether or not there was something to be concerned about. Sounds like he's going to grow up to be a big guy. Maybe he could be a football player or something! lol.

If doc says no, then I say no. Also, in about 2 to 3 years, I am sure he will get taller and thinner, and burn everything you put in him. Most 14 year old boys have hollow legs - they eat and eat and it just goes into the legs!

depends, on his height, and is it muscle or is it fat- if the doc says nothing to be concerned about then i suppose he is fine, if not seek a second opion. He might just grow out of it. If it is fat- then i recommend feeding him healthier foods and stay away from fast food.
