+ Sacramentals +
Holy Water is a sacramental.
Sacramentals are sacred signs that help us live holy lives although they do not produce sanctifying grace (salvation).
Sacramentals include blessings of persons, meals, objects (including water), and places.
The priest blesses the congregation during Mass.
Christians bless their meals. "Bless us O Lord and these thy gifts, ..."
Priests bless water, animals, ships, homes, and even automobiles. "God bless this home and all those who enter here."
Holy Water is available free at any Catholic Church.
With love in Christ.

Holy water is simply water that has been blessed by a priest. Nothing special in the chemical make up. Still just H2O.
What it does is wash away our sins.
If you want holy water, go to your local Catholic church and ask the priest for some (bring a clean container with you would be a big help). He will gladly give you some.

You do not buy Holy Water. It is readily available at a Catholic Church. Bring a clean nice container to store it in. Usually in the back of the Church somewhere there is a spigot to get Holy Water. If not just ask. Holy Water is a Sacramental which is a reminder of the Sacrament that it reminds us of. Holy Water is a Blessed Sacramental that reminds us of our Baptism. It is a powerful weapon against evil because it not only reminds us of our Baptism it also reminds the Evil one of our Baptism which is his time of destruction. Oh he hates it!.

I am not Roman Catholic, but an Episcopalian who uses Holy water at home. I get it from the church I attend and it comes from the water used in Holy Baptism. For me is a holy act to dip my finger into this blessed water and make a sign of the cross on my forehead. The Holy water for me is a constant reminder of my baptism. Holy water is not for sale in any church and is free for the taken. I fill up a Holy Water bottle from the container that contains the Baptism water to bring it home and put it in my Holy water fount.

Holy water is a devotional aid, and it is free. Since it is the blessing that makes the water holy, it would be sacrilegious to charge for holy water. If you want holy water, just bring some water to a priest and ask him to bless it.

Holy water, as our catechisms taught us, is "water blessed by the priest with solemn prayer, to beg God's blessing on those who use it, and protection from the powers of darkness."
I f you go to your Church and asked the Priest he will give you some in a vial or take a small glass it is free
God Bless You

all holy water is, is water taken from under ground springs. it is taken to a priest who pronouces prayers and blessings over it. thus it becomes holy water. it is used in blessing and christenings. Pagans have been useing holy water for thousands of years. that is where the christians got it from.

tell you what, i woke up one morning before school watched some tv, saw a commercial for holy water.
this was one of the claims:
i went to bed one night distressed with money, i had many pills past due and was having problems, i poured holy water on me and went to bed, i woke up the next morning and was the owner of a prosperous company and all my bill troubles are gone.
another one was like
i went to bed with aches and pains, could hardly walk. when i woke up i could move and bound around like i was young again!
and people buy into this crap? i was in awe that people can be so gullible.
