tell me what you think (remember i am in high school)

*i blush (badly)every time someone says anything remotly embarrasing.
*i end up with alot of homework all the time because instead of doing my work i sit and worry a bout who likes me and who doesnt.
*i am CONSTANTLY trying to figure out ppl by their body language. and maybe if they are annoyed by me or if they like me.
*sorry for this detail but whenever i have a period or something i always ask my best friend to check for me to make sure that i did not bleed through or something. about 5 times a day.
*when i go home every day i have to go look in the mirror to make sure that nothing looks weird or something.

the thing is that i am actually kinda a popular person or not to sound snobby at all, but i always second guess my self. its wierd cuz i am not a shy girl in particular and i didnt consider myself insecure at all its just all this anxiety. it doesnt really add up

that sounds more like being self concious than anything. just learn to laugh at yourself if something doesnt go right, quit worrying and have fun with life!! :)

It sounds like you worry too much about what people think and you so called have this role as popular to hold up. Its nice if everyone likes you , but in the real world it don't happen tht way. Don't worry about the small stuff which it is, obviously your doing fine the way you are. As far as getting embarrass about things everyone does time to time. I had a friend tht ask me too on her period days if she went through, we all did , that's normal who wants someone to see that just don't make it a compulsive thing.

Just go with the flow and you'll be fine

Sounds to me like you may have an inferiority complex. Take a public speaking class and get over it. I used to be the same way in HS, took a college course that cured me of it right quick.

I still hate to speak in front of people, but I don't get all anxious about it anymore. Nor do I care what other people might be thinking of me anymore. Think about it, it's rediculouse to feel that way. Who cares!!! Get on with your life and make yourself the center of your universe, not what other people's thoughts might be. You may also have a little OCD. You may want to get it check out too.

I think people are like that all the time, including me. People just don't wanna be embarrassed, that's all.

Weather you have a disorder or not, just remember that no one should ever make you feel bad about yourself or embarrassed. If they do, tell a friend about it.

Gain confidence and have true pride in yourself... and remember that you have all my best wishes!

yeah, maybe a little anxious or paranoid, but a lot of it is just normal teenager stuff. If you a really worried about it (which you would be if you are anxious) then you should see a doctor or something.
