I do not think a person can be chosen without being called nor called without being chosen.
I feel that I was chosen to be alive at this particular time, that I have been called to do what i know is right and that I have been chosen to receive special blessings.

I honestly feel as if my life has been on "autopilot" for about the last 22 years and that God has been in charge. I have also had a number of very specific experiences that I can not find any rational explanation for. I have never been diagnosed with schizophrenia or mental illness. Does that mean I'm chosen? I don't know.

I was called and chosen to serve in the enviable war between good & evil, many will wounder who is winning. Well evil is winning, from the people that run this world to the lowly pesent begging in the street. All the people think God is a fluke because he did not give you all the goodies in life and gave it to a dominate peice of crap, but evil wants you to view this in just that type of light. The great God that made you has given you all that you need to fight evil. But you say how can I combat something envisible, I say onto you the bible which is written for every soul and is understood only in your mind is your book of knowlege and should you read it to your understanding, you shall find the wepons to combat evil. Some will say why God does not destroy evil, I say to you God surly has and now its your turn to stand and step out on faith and defeat your evil.

I believe that "Many are called and few are chosen" relates to the fact that many WILL be called but few choose to the the things necessary to be chosen.

We know about the past, we know not about the future.
Many people accepted religion, but only a few lived the devoted life. It is really difficult to understand, especially to put the divine teachings into practice.
It is hoped that people nowadays are more mature, they can read directly the Word of God and know how to get spiritual support to practice the teachings. And because of this, we can have great assurance that the Kingdom of God will be established on earth in this Dispensation.

for most are noted as, yet few are chosen. the numerous noted as embody all who listen the gospel; the full Jewish usa, and the Gentiles of each land the position the gospel is preached. the selected are those who elect to settle for. This commentary contained in the 14th verse is the inference from the "complete parable," and in no way of the area about the guy without the marriage garment. It does not recommend, for this reason, that the full mass contained in the church are merely noted as and in no way chosen, or are hypocrites; inspite of the indisputable fact that the full mass in "the human relatives," contained throughout Christ, who were "noted as," had rejected the mercy of God. Many are noted as to the marriage-ceremonial dinner, it truly is, to salvation, yet few have the marriage-garment, the righteousness of Christ, the sanctification of the Spirit.

All the chosen were called.
All who are called are not chosen.
God's Spirit confirms it, and you to know it is so.
Rom 8:29-31
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

Many are called. But not everyone picks up the "phone." Of those who do, and continue to "hear" and follow the instructions of the caller, they are "chosen."

I was called and obviously I must have been chosen because I answered that call 31 years ago. It was the best decision of my life. He's never failed me. I hope you are, too!

If you want to be chosen... you need to accept your sins. Accepting your sins is like accepting Him in your life. You have to forgive yourself before you forgive your enemies. As long as you don't feel any hate, anger instead you need to feel more happy and love with everyone or anything. I'm sure you will feel like you are in heaven, because you feel pure inside.
