Birds shed their feathers and grow new ones periodically, so my guess would be yes. However, you'd have to be careful not to kill the bird during the process and that it doesn't die afterwards (birds are extremely sensitive to temperature, what you might consider warm, for a bird can be very cold)

First of all, please dont pull out feathers from a chicken or any other bird. Its painful for the bird. Ok, IF you pulled out a feather it will grow back. Birds lose all of their feathers every year during what is called molt. This takes a period of weeks, so the bird is never without most of its feathers. If a bird loses a feather outside of molt it will grow back before the next molt.

Yes they will grow back, but it is not safe to pluck any birds feathers. It is also harmful to them and it hurts them and would be considered abuse of an animal. Imagine someone plucking out multiple strands of your hair at a time over and over.

I guess if you do they'll call you a chicken plucker.If the chicken is alive in time they will die.
