Hello. i am giving a speech soon for a large group of mothers. My topic is bringing the fun back into parenting/fun ideas to do at home with children. There are MANY ideas rolling around in my head. Do you think mommies will be willing to stand up and join me for a quick game or song, etc. to demonstrate how fun parenting can be?? THANK YOU

They should be if they are truly interested in being a parent and having fun with it. Hope I helped.

I would but I've always been adventurous. I say some mommies will stand up and play willingly and some will with a little persuasion and others just won't want to do it. The answers are as varied as the mommies. You could probably coax most of them to play by pointing out it is to show how much fun everyone can have as a parent.

Demonstrating your fun ideas, with your fellow parents as substitute children, is a great idea! You'll all have fun doing it!

Make a list or outline that you can hand out to others. Introduce one or two of your ideas, and have everyone try it together, or break into small groups. (You might want to appoint small group leaders beforehand to lead the small groups.) After you play the game(s), elicit feedback from each group. Afterward, briefly describe the other activities on your list that they might try with their kids.

Good luck, God bless, and have fun!

Yeah, sure. Mommies are used to playing with their kids and they enjoy being friends with other mommies. I think they're all in the same boat so they don't feel as embarassed as you might think.

Absolutely, but bear in mind that if they are moms of YOUNG children, they may feel a bit tired, so don't expect them to perform Riverdance or something equally as energetic :)
