Red! Ha ha, just kidding. I read a study on the subject and it concluded that gentlemen show a *slight* preference for....women with dark hair.

Of course, I don't believe either color is superior. It probably all depends on the trend.

In my opinion, texture is more important than color. I'm a brunette and I've been told to go blonde before, but I refuse because bleaching makes hair brittle. (Oh yeah-I'm a gal, even though my profile sillouette implies I'm a guy!) If you use a flat iron (like me), you'll need all the hair strength you can get. As popular as it is, even blonde hair won't look good if its broken and straw-like. Also, I think dyed-blonde hair looks awful when its grown out. Most girls I see out have this half-blonde/half-brunette thing going on. Its so refreshing to see an *all* blonde or *all* brunette.

Some guys probably do "tune-in" to blondes more, but thats probably just because they watch too much TV...and who wants a guy like that anyway?

P.S.--I've dated blondes, I've dated brunettes. I've crushed on black-haired guys. The guy I like is different everytime; I don't walk around with a checklist in my head and I doubt most guys do, either. ^_^

It depends on your skin tone. Light skin tone and blonde hair go together better than blonde hair and dark skin tone and likewise the same is true for brunettes. Don't forget, you also have eyebrows and eyelashes. Will you match? Last question. . . will the rug match the curtains?

well it really depends. if your dark haired and going to blonde thats alot of maintance. even in money and always taking care of color. if your an mild color would be fine.
But being brunette really isnt hard maintance.
never go with red cuz it always fades quick.
But either looks good.
