I have been using Feline Pine with my kitten. I liked the idea that it was biodegrable and didn't cause the nasty litter dust that is said to cause respiratory problems in cats. The Feline Pine clumps nicely and is easy to scoop, but it really doesn't eliminate the smell. Has anyone found any biodegrable kitty litters that have worked for them? Any kitty litters period that eliminate smell well?

Just my experience...
I have 3 cats using 2 litter boxes...(1 they pee in, the other poo)
I find that it's close to impossible to attain that no smell litter.
Cat pee is just so strong... changing the litter more often and what I found is not to shake the scoop so much when removing the clumps seems to help reduce the odour.

I can recommend you try 2 more to see if it works for you/your cat.
I've tried Feline Pine and wasn't too crazy for it..
Swheat scoop was nice but after a few days the smell came back.

I really liked PC Green litter it has a nice smell which kind of disguises the cat pee but as with any after a week you notice the pee smell.

It might be different for you because you have one cat.

Good Luck!

I have been using Scamp Scoop for well over a year and it is very good at keeping the smell away. It is available in scoopable or the regular clay stones. I use the scoopable. I have three cats and it does an amazing job. It comes in 28lb bags and is very reasonable in price. It also does not have nearly the dust that other scoopable litters do. It has a pleasant perfumed smell that is not overwhelming. Hope this helps.

Oh, i might want to truthfully ought to disagree with Arm & Hammer - i tried it once (and really have a million cat!) - and that i idea it change into undesirable! did not clump nicely, did not administration smell nicely, and dusty too! this is not biodegradable - yet i have got here upon my fashionable is Tidy Cat for numerous Cats contained in the field with the blue suitable. besides the actual incontrovertible truth that it truly is between the most inexpensive manufacturers, it extremely looks extra appropriate to even extra extreme priced ones. merely ascertain you do not inadvertently purchase the Tidy Cat it truly is non-clumping. in case you extremely desire biodegrable, i have heard Swheat Scoop is powerful, yet i have in no way tried it.
