Since September 1st, I have had 6 boyfriends. People have called me a player. They told me my boyfriends don't last as long as my toothbrushes do. They also told me they were Sorry that my life is so sad. But, there is this new guy I like. His name is Jake. His friends told me he likes me back and he asked me out. But, if I go out with him, I will seem more like a player. WHAT DO I DO?

maybe they're jealous because that doesn't seem like a whole lot of people. I mean I've never done that, but a player is more like someone who has a girlfriend a few girls "on the side". Sounds like you only have one bf at a time so you're not a player. So don't worry about it. Go out with him if you like him and ignore what everyone else says.

I don't think your a player. If your just dating people that's life. There is no rule that says you have to date someone for a year before you break up with them. Your living your life trying to find Mr. Right and the only way you will do that is by dating. Now maybe people would stop saying youra player if you don't have that label of being boyfriend and girlfriend if you just stay friends and go out to dinner or things like that. And if people are saying things like that to you that's not right. You should ask them would they rather you be with someone who you feel is not right for you. There was obviously a reason for you to break up with the other guys and that's your decision don't let other people make relationship decisions for you that's something you need to decide your friends won't be in the relationship with the guy you will be. Just because you date different guys doesn't make you a player. If you are just using them to better yourself, and see what you can get out of them, then you are. Don't let what jealous people say bother you. As long as you respect yourself, don't worry.
