It doesn't. When you accept Christ into your life, you become spiritually alive and you become a NEW person. Then Jesus actually lives His life through you by His Spirit. But Christianity isn't a self help religion or something a person can do to better themselves. Unfortunately, it has been portrayed this way and as a result many have been robbed of it's true meaning. When you surrender your life and heart to Jesus, He gives you a life so strong it never dies. Your body will die for a time but the real you will step out of it, (like taking off a coat) and you will be transported to the Glorious presence of God and Jesus His Son who loves you more than anyone else does.

The person of Jesus Christ makes Christianity a reality. A person who receives Jesus as Lord and Savior will allow Him to form his character within you so you will have a better outlook on life and will strive to love all people as Jesus did. Some people see Christianity as one of the Worlds religion. Its a lot more than that. Having religion is one thing but being in relationship with Jesus Christ is another. God's love present in Jesus Christ who dwells within each believer is what makes one a better person.

How does atheism make you a better person? Having been both a Christian and an atheist, I can assure you that no one group of people holds the rights to morality. You are a better person when you strive to do your best, be your best, love and care for those around you, and top it all off with a healthy dose of respect. One doesn't need religion or science to do that. What's needed is common sense.

Paul, enable me exchange your premise purely a sprint then attempt to respond to your question. Being a Christian would desire to make someone a extra constructive person. Christianity would if human beings take it severe in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it incredibly is whilst someone turns right into a Christian the exchange comes. Now with that suggested--extra constructive than 0.5 of the so stated as "Christians" belong to church homes which instruct being of that church makes you a Christian. that's no longer what Jesus taught nor what his disciples taught. As Paul the Apostle suggested it, we grow to be a clean creature, old issues are placed away and new issues are taken up as we live that new life. So me as a Christian, a real believer in the saving skill of Jesus--it incredibly is in no way my place to question your faith in spite, nor ever to sentence you to hell--the two are the interior maximum accountability of God himself. that does no longer mean I would desire to in no way talk my faith with you, to share what i understand to be real approximately Jesus or to wish for you. yet to sentence you---no way. If all people who confesses to be a Christian because of the fact the bible teaches, this would be a staggering worldwide and an ever changing worldwide for people who have not got self assurance as we do would desire to be like us is they observed how reliable it incredibly is. yet somewhat the worldwide is crammed with fake signs and warning signs of Christianity--the folk stay purely like all those in the worldwide stay so what's so particular---we are assume to stand off from the techniques of the worldwide and be a easy of reality to the worldwide-----no such diverse so stated as Christians are extra advantageous the parade in the worldwide---it confuses me additionally and that i've got been a Christian for sixty 5 of my seventy six years. no longer suited yet yet have come a protracted way. Merry Christmas in Jesus the Christ and a maximum happy New 12 months

Ever since I became a Christian, I stopped cutting myself. I'm happier with God and not as depressed. I don't loose my temper as often and I'm more relaxed. I also haven't gotten as sick from stress.
