What are "liver spots" on the skin caused by and what is the remedy?

Liver spots are a natural aging process of the skin.
No real remedy except having them removed or using a cream designed to bleach out the area.

They are a part of the aging process. I don't think there is an effective remedy other than having them removed by a dermatologist (laser surgery).
