I'm a nurse. I take care of people you so-called Christians have turned your backs on for years. I don't need saving. The real sin is people like you supporting a president who cuts funds to the neediest Americans. Save yourself.

The Gospel of fear strikes again!
The "Good news" is that god's angry?
I'm so glad that I don't have to believe in your God. I'm so glad that arbitrary tests can't determine a heart. The idiotic sentiments posed by this nutcase are that all offenses bring the wrath of God, and all offenses no matter how trivial warrant eternal damnation.
The analogy of the "corrupt judge" fails. Surely if a judge let go a rapist, he may be corrupt; but what of the judge who sentences jay-walkers to death? Does that make any sense whatever?
The Bible tells a story that doesn't have enough substance to stand up on its own. Christians try to rationalize that God, the loving father is so holy that tossing a bottle into the trash rather than a recycling bucket carries an eternal sentence. People have used this as movie themes -- the ubiquitous "hanging judges" of the wild west or Star Trek.
It's a gospel of fear and an untenable position in a world of justice and reason.

Christianity turns good people into jerks more so than it turns bad people good. I speak as an ex christian preacher who has personally converted and baptized dozens of people and while some became better people, many let it go to their heads and I had wished I had never presented the gospel to them.
Certain denominations are so wrapped up in Miracles and modern day prophets that most people in those churches are very hard to get along with. Because they feel their will is God's will.

The thing I don't like about this test is that it uses a scare tactic. Most people respond better with love an encouragement. Scare tactic scare people in the opposite direction. They encourage rebelling against what they are shown.
And, being a better person and being saved are two different things. I consider myself "saved" but I am always striving to be a better person.

I was appalled at what I read on this site. Apparently I was made by a loving God who will have no problems - in fact will feel logically compelled - to commit me to eternal torment unless I utter a few magic words. Honestly, there are better ways to encourage people to behave well towards one another and to acknowledge one another's dignity. I suggest that if an anthropologist came across a set of practices like this in a newly-discovered part of the world they'd write it up as one way in which they unnecessarily conspire to scare their children and fleece their adults.

This question is exactly why so many people on this site yell back and forth against each others belief systems. Why are you assuming that we need to be saved. Lets use Jesus' standards that says we are all loved by God, regardless of who or what we are.
And please, show the conviction of your beliefs by using a name or something, and don't have a website speak for you.

I think question answers cannot prove whether you are a Better Person or not.
To declare some better, it takes a long time and long judging time.

I will not open up websites-never know what little bug or virus is lurking back there.
But, I'd prefer not to be saved if it to join these holier than thou Evangelical Christians.
