My unlce is a priest, my grandma is a stone cold christian (and a bit of a female dog), and my mom believes. I think it's all a load of crap. I have zero ability to believe and my mom accepts that, or at least she thinks I'm confused and doesn't make me go to church. My sister brother and dad are with me but I'm the youngest so I think I'm my grandmas last chance at having one of us being an actual christian. My grandma scares me and sometimes i just want to yell because she can be so rude. WHAT DO I DO?!?!

Just hang in there. It sounds like you're still underage. Be grateful (trust me on this) that your mom is cutting you some slack. I didn't have that choice.

Does Gram live with you? If not, she probably won't be able to do much about you; just smile, nod and ignore her if you can't stand up to her.

You're screwed. Most people like that are totally intolerant if you believe something different. When my mom saw my interest in Wicca, she called me names, insulted me, made me feel guilty for my religion, stole, caused my to have suicidal thoughts five times a day every day since then, and a variety of other really horrible things just to show me "the love of God". On the other hand, your grandmother loves you and just wants to protect you. What I do in order to keep from fighting with my family is just to pretend I'm still Christian (I'm henotheistic, so that's not a total lie).

So, why don't you believe? Christianity is not about your grandma, your mother, your father, your brother, or your sister. It's about Jesus Christ. He lived. He died. He rose again. We have the record of the New Testament that proves it. So, what are you going to do with it? Ignore it?

I pray not.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Time has a way of fixing everything.
