If your prayer praises God, then yes it is worship.
If your prayer is to ask of God, then you are submitting yourself to his power by showing your need of him, so it is worship.

Worship basically means to show great respect for something or someone. I guess if the prayer is full of respect, it could be considered worship.

I would say worship is prayer. The broader term is prayer. True worship, really has more to do with an attitude, a posture assumed in prayer.

Worship is anything that gives Honor and praise to God. The act of group prayer with people of the same faith praying to the one god is definitely worship.
Jesus said "Were ever two or three gather together in My name I am there with them."

Worship is "an act of reverence and honor shown to God...Worship gives God what God is due, or "worth." It may be expressed in formal prayer (liturgical and non liturgical, communal and private),Or in the ordinary deeds of every day human life that flow from an inner attitude of reverence and honor for God.
Christian worship is rooted in Jesus Christ, Who alone gives God the fullness of reverence and Honor. The highest expression of Christian worship is the Eucharist."

Some is. If you are praying for selfish things then no. If you are praying for someone else or for a character flaw of your own to be removed and giving thanks then it can be worship. Or just telling God how much you appreciate Him and how humbled you feel that He would consider you at all then that would be worship.

Any focus on God is worship, so yes. Many people think that worship can only be done is praise and song, but the defenition expands further than that.

That's what was considered worship when I was a Christan. They no longer sacrifice virgin Lambs or their Children. Unless things have changed in the last two years. xx
