Well, my family makes this dish called Spanish delight. You need Hamburger, egg noodles (or you can use other types, but that's the best for this recipe), American Cheese, a can of corn, Onions (if you want) and a green belle pepper (once again, if you want).

Brown the hamburger meat and add Chili powder, salt and pepper to taste. Boil the noodles, drain, then set aside. Then add about a package (more or less to taste) of slices of American cheese. Add the onions, Belle Pepper and Corn. Then stir mixture together. Then stir in the noodles. Then transfer to a pan and top with American cheese slices. Then cook in the oven until the slices are melted, about 15 minutes at 350.

It's kind of like hamburger helper, but the chili powder and corn, onions, belle peppers and amercing cheese make a delicious combination. I've never had anyone try it and not like it.

Yum. Read some of the other answers. They are all good! Then there's the old clean out the fridge idea.
Scramble up the ground meat. Look in the fridge for any lift overs that are still good, especially vegetables, onions, etc. If the stuff in the pot gets thick add in a can of tomato soup or broth. Add spices, which ever ones turn your tummy on.
Just one hint. Remember no mater what it looks like, if it smells good, it will usually taste good.
