As the great Philosipher Obi-Wan Kenobi responded to Annakin Skywalker (Episode III) accusing him of trying to steal Padme:
"You have done that yourself!"
God simply passed the justice of death to happen (as he does with all men). God is the Great Judge (among many other things) and that's just... well... one of the things He does!
B'sides, what kind of "judgement" would it be if instead of being killed and sent to H-E-Double-Hockey-sticks-- if in stead you got sent to, say, Cleveland... ??

The short is answer is that all mankind is worthy of death and judgement at any given second. The fact that God does not kill man after he first sins is because God wants that man (or woman) to repent.
Read Romans 2:4 - forebearance is a delay in punishment. Read Romans 1-3 to learn more about how God views sin, what sin is, why all men are guilty and finally, how salvation is by faith in Christ and faith alone, without any 'work' (deed) on our part. No amount of being good from this day forward will pay for the sins we committed yesterday, which is why works will never get man into heaven.

"god" has been blamed for much. However, the testimony we have is always through human eyes. Perhaps we are mis-reading the evidence. "Acts of God" are often pointed out in natural disasters by such folk as Insurance Companies (check your policy for coverage!), "man on the street" in TV interviews, etc. Personally, I doubt that "god" kills anyone. The second half of your question is also a faith matter which depends on your own belief. Hell is not waiting for all victims of "acts of God", is it? Sometimes death is viewed as an escape from a hellish existance in this realm on earth. We need to be more open in how we listen for God's lead and will. Draw a larger circle is my own view, and let God be Almighty and all knowing. It's not for us to judge... nor to narrow the facts. Hope this helps, George

First of all, there is no Hell waiting for them. Imagine that you have a piece of wood that you set on fire. It burns until it is nothing more than ash. The same would happen to people, they can't burn forever, they would disintegrate. The Great Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah and other times that God felt it necessary to purge the earth of wickedness were Judgment times. These people will not be resurrected, they have been disintegrated like a piece of wood burned in a flame.
Please speak with other Jehovah's Witnesses and they will share other Judgement times in the Bible and what benefit their being recorded are for us.

That is the reason I feel the bible was mostly made by man. A few philosophical ideas may have been true, but for the most part, it was a creation of humanity.
Most of the time in the old testament, Yhwh seems a little... tyrannical? Honestly, this is not the same God who would send a part of himself to Earth to die a horrible painful death caused by him breaking his own law in order to save everyone who would just say that this man-God was in fact God. To me, that's a little far-fetched.

Well, I don't know about others , but he did the great flood because the world was already messed up, he wanted to start it over. And on other things, God wants us to TRUST him. He has a plan for everyone, and it was just their time to go. I do believe that he gives you a 2ND chance when you die though, just have Faith.=D
God Had Made This Day, REJOICE! and be GLAD! in it!
Hope This Helps!

"Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live" Ezekiel 33:11
"The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1 John 4:8
"And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." 1 John 4:16
Deuteronomy 30:19
"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. (the power of choice as a gift!) So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.
"And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where The Lord your God has driven you, and return to The Lord your God, you and your children, and obey His voice in all that I command you this day, with all your heart and with all your soul; then The Lord your God will RESTORE (hope!) your fortunes, and have compassion upon you, and He will gather you again from all the peoples where The Lord your God has scattered you."

Because God is a righteous God and cannot tolerate sin.
We're no different from those who were judged by God's righteous hand. We all have sinned against Him and deserve to be sentenced to Hell for all eternity. Our only hope is to flee to Christ and repose in Him.

The Flood was because there was no good left in the world and he was going to totally destroy it but then he saw Noah and he and his family were the only good left so he decided to have mercy on us and he saved Noah and then we all decended through him.
When people die its because it is thier time. and when people suffer it is to help them get through other things that are yet to come.
