If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMDqR
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

At health food stores they have honey and sesame candy which my son loves, he likes carrotts and celery dipped in ranch dressing, oatmeal bars or fruit bars. My sister made a fruit salad the other day and he didn't think he was going to like it but he did. Buy him rice cakes, my son loves strawberry rice chips and banana chips. Have you bought him trail mix? They have different kinds at Walmart and Sam's Club. Also fried plantains with sour cream are good! You can fry them in olive oil. My son also likes Honey Bunches of Oats in a cup w/out milk as a snack and yogurt and also dried fruit (papaya, pinneaple and mango). Good luck!

FRUIT SKEWERS
Bananas
Strawberries
Grapes
Apple slices
Slice fruit to about 1/2" thick slices or a little more. Put them on 6" skewers, alternating a strawberry slice then a banana slice, etc.. Go to your baking section of a grocery store and pick up some of the microwavable dipping chocolate by "Baker's" - it comes in both dark & light chocolate. Then once you have your fruit skewers, drizzle chocloate over them. Allow to harden

Nachos
All you do is put tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Add a can of refried beans. Cover with shredded cheese. Put in the oven on broil for like 10 minutes (untill the cheese melts) Serve it with sourcream and salsa.

Make the chex mix recipe off the box. Each child can be in charge of measuring one of the ingredients and can take turns mixing it before baking. Also, add cheerios...they're a great addition to the mix.
