been dating this sexy Russian guy for about 7 mos. we went on a ski trip for new years and i totally found out he was cheating on me. i confronted him but he totally denied it. i didn't tell how I knew but believe me I found the smoking gun so there is no doubt in my mind...heres the dilemma... This guy is a great person and seems like an amazing friend but since we started out as lovers should I just cut him loose completely or keep him on as a friend since he has been so great since I've met him? Or could the fact that he's cheating be a sign that he's not the guy I thought he was. I know that he really wants me in his life but I'm definetely no Backseat B*tch so I don't know what to do.. All answers welcome

If he's cheating on you, he's not who you think he is, because if he was truly as great as you're claiming, he'd never have done such a thing.
In all honesty, I'd say to get rid of him. If you do break up with him as it is, don't even suggest the "but we can still be friends" thing afterwards, because it's almost never true. If there's going to be a friendship after the awkwardness of breaking up passes, then it will be there on its own.
I'm really sorry to hear that this has happened to you though-- that's never a good thing to find out. If the same thing had happened to me, I can tell you right now, I'd be shopping for a new boyfriend.

for the cheating part, get out of the relationship, for the friendship part, not only did he cheat but he lied! Cut him loose! You'll be better off. If you do keep him around you'll most likley be bitter/jealous every time he brings around someone new.
