Ok so theres this girl. we used to have tons of fun together in a class we had a couple years back, and it was cool. we didnt have any classes together last year, but i asked her to a school dance, and she said she couldnt go. I talked to her friend, who didnt kno i asked her, and she said that the girl only goes with ppl shes good friends with. which is understandable. well we have a class together this year its its a ton of fun. like we walk together after class and stuff, and we basically just laugh alot. should i ask her on a date?

It's highly unlikey that a friend who knows her so well didn't know that you asked her to the dance. But if in fact she didn't know and her response was honest, you should ask her out. Here's a suggestion:
Make sure that she seems as interested as you are cause you don't wanna come on to strong. See what she likes to eat for lunch. ANd next time you guys are laughing and talking try this. For instance. if it's nachos and a coke, Say, "Hey wanna get some nachos and a coke with me today?" If she says no, she has plans or isn't interested because you use something that you know she likes.

No. If you ask her on a date and she says no then things will be awkward between you and you guys wont have fun together anymore. If you already asked her to the dance once before, she knows you like her. If she wanted to pursue something with you I think she'd let you know.

If you're really into this girl then you shouldn't pass up the opportunity. The way I see it is you're gonna get more and more attached the longer you wait and if she does happen to turn you down the more heartbroken you will be. Just go for it now. i think you should set up a group date first just round up several friends to all go out that way yall are used to hanging out together outside of school...then if all goes well...go for a real date

If you want more than friendship then ask her, but bear in mind she may not feel the same and may feel less comfortable around you after you've asked. Good luck.
