Ihave seen many other sites that also send care packages, But when you get to know that you put something specail into making sure some soldier gets a care package or pen pal it is a bit more satisfactory as far as a home personal touch.

Find the active army, reserve or national guard installation neareast to your home (you can use the internet because some are small). The asks for the Family Readiness Group (FRG) rep. It is usually the spouse of a deployed service member. They should have a list of soldiers (married and single) who are deployed and who would like to receive something.

I suggest this because we get so much stuff that often it clutters up or goes without being used (thrown away).
