That would have to be the Belgian surrealist painter Rene Magritte, although I can't quite place the particular painting to which you refer.

i imagine its strong draft, yet somehow its receives dull... the plot is powerful, yet i imagine you should make the prologue extra interesting, e.g instead of giving each of the information about Iva's mothers and fathers and her sister, supply extra ingredient about her visual attraction, how does a vampire look, light scaly epidermis? bloody red eyes? put in some cliff-hangers.. the prologue must be extra interesting, nicely, attempt to furnish further information on Vampires as a race, and instead of creating use of words like yellow eyes say something like amber, or sparkling... it needs extra intensity and the charaters are flatt. they prefer extra personality. and that i imagine you may miss the information (vampires mate with people, and werewolfs with demons...etc) out till eventually slightly later, it doesnt extremely seize the readers interest. i wish iæm not being harsh, i merely favor to assist. i wish you may improve your tale, make it very interesting, and make it so as that the reader can't placed the tale or e book down, yet another tip is to ascertain in case you'll locate another books on vampires, perhaps twilight... or something in that line, merely to get some extra information on them, and also you may also see how the author writes, the position he or she places the information... wish II helped! strong tale! =)

The painting is anonymous. It is aptly titled, "Faceless man in front of black tree."
