i think it when you dont get a call from a person for a long time or you have talked to them and they say nothing about what you heard

I'm not sure what you mean by 'getting the second hand in things', but if you don't feel that someone is putting you first then it's probably true. Go with your instincts (your gut) as sometimes that's all you have. Always value yourself enough to know when to walk away.
