I though athiests didn't believe in Abbreviations?

Just kidding. I'm not an atthiest, I'm a Buddhist-Christian. I think the whole Xtian thing comes from the fact that an X either a) looks like a cross (but then a "t" looks more like one) or b) It's a "criss-cross", hence the "criss"tian.

I never use it, don't see why any Christina would want to take the name of their focal point OUT of the name of the religioun. Is brevity moer important that your belief and love of Christ?

As for a good athiest abbreviation (I mean you can change it all you want, no hypocricy when you do it) I'd suggest some of the following :

A-ism ( and A-ist)
80-ist (say it "eighty-ist", sounds close)
or maybe "Going To Hell" .... just kidding. You believe what you believe and I'll believe what I do. We'll find out when we die.

One of us is going to be very suprised lol.

I thought our nicknames were : Non-believer, Religion haters, Agents of Satan, along with a bunch of other colourful and hateful titles. Xianity is the religion of god's love, after all. They do a good job illustrating that love. ;)

I kind of like Athee. I'm an Athee. Darn those Athees. There'd be fewer misspellings that way.

I'm a Christian, but maybe since an Atheist coined the term Xian, maybe a Christian should coin the Atheist word.
How about 8theist? Oh, by the way, a long time ago, some people tried to coin the term "brights" for atheists, but the word never caught on.

i'm fortunate, i did not get a Banana Mail in the present day. yet I optimistic have been given a 'undesirable remark' because of the fact I pronounced that a particular member replaced into an ignorant because of the fact he replaced into arguing that "lack of expertise + devil = Atheist". I recommend, what else might desire to you have pronounced? besides... There are 2 diverse "atheist profile" in Christianity. a million. (the only that maximum trolls have faith) is that we are fairly evil and ignorants. that we are going to burn in hell, that we live in distress, that we don't understand what love is, and that they are generally those that incorporate those "medical theories" with which they attempt to "drown" our ideals. of direction, they are those that have not got any theory approximately atheism, they think of that we don't think in something so... What else do you anticipate? 2. those that say issues like: 'God loves the sinner, yet hates sin". they are generally those that are extremely respectful and worrying (like my mum) yet they nevertheless have that feeling of "damaging little element", or "I want you will possibly desire to experience as happy as I do", or "i like atheists extra because of the fact they might desire to open a window of their ideas". i actually, can not come to a determination which one is worse. stable luck, and shop those Banana Mails as info of their desirable ideas! What is the point? Just move on with your life and do not worry about it, you have nothing to prove. That is for those people with some sort of mystical master.

Well, the Christians have lots of cute little nick names for us, like heathen, blasphemer, infidel, etc.

I don't have a cool abbreviation, but what about the phrase "Giants among pygmies"? It certainly applies.
