The Internet has both helped and hurt religion worldwide. Like a hammer, it can be used to build or destroy. The pornography, the lies, the fraud, etc. has impeded spiritual progression, while the very essence of increased communication and ability to share beliefs and education has made the world smaller and more connected. The Internet is a great tool to share the gospel, but it can also be very harmful, addictive, and dangerous. Good question.

Well, the bible, is more available now, than ever before. It still is the best seller of course too. But this makes it more handy to get to as needed, or wanted. On the other hand, there is a lot more crud out there than ever before. Satanic sites, pornoagraphy, and all kinds of stuff that hurts people in the long run. I wouldn't know exactly how, but I know the internet has affected religion worldwide.

I think this site has done more to hurt religion than help with anything. This section has more weirdos and creeps on it than any other. A true Christian cannot ask or receive an intelligent answer on here.

If it has done anything ,I think it has made non-believers like myself to be more open with our opinions. I have realized that I am not so much the bad guy at all, to not have religion, instead I have common sense, and I am definitely not alone.

Peace!
I think it has made a positive impact in promoting inter-religious dialogue.
