That is what I call an interesting question...
If you are talking about 737-300 or 737-400 or 737-500 then well they are old model, and no they are not that cool anymore to fly on... A320 first versions were the same... you could smell kerozene inside the cabin.
Now, as I am traveling more a less every two weeks, I think 737-800 or the last 320 versions are really good. So I am not sure one is better than the other. I think that Airbus in terms of technology is quite ahead compare to Boeing.

I actually like the A320 better than the 737. The A320 has a bit of a smoother ride especially when the weather is choppy.

It depends on the airline and the price of the ticket. However, in the end, in my opinion, you should go with the Boeing. I've never really liked A320 aircraft; it makes too many loud noises for no reason, and it's not made by Boeing.

ok... enable me preface this by asserting that the A320 fly-by-twine device isn't "automatic" to the diploma maximum have faith. only because of the fact it won't enable the pilot pitch the nostril as much as above 40 seven stages and could not enable barrel rolls, does not recommend that's inferior. that is like potential steerage on a vehicle - it makes your existence extra handy, and if it breaks, you will steer, that is in undemanding terms extra stable. If an Airbus flight computing gadget fails, the undeniable reverts to direct regulation, wherein that's precisely the comparable as a 737 from a administration attitude, only with a sidestick as a replace of a yoke. I lean in direction of the A320, that's wider, extra gentle, quiter, and maximum heavily for the airlines that fly them: extra fee effective.

I've heard bad things about Boeing from pilots. But I'm sure if the FAA approves them, they are both plenty safe. And the interior configuration varies by airline.
