i haven't chosen a destination yet but was thinking of Gambia i know that is 6 hrs AND I HAVE LOOKED AT AIRLINE WEBSITES BUT SEEMS HARDWORK GOING THROUGH EACH PLACE SO THOUGHT MAYBE THERE IS AN EASIER WAY OUT THERE

You can get flight time and distance estimates at: http://www.jets.com/ type in city or airport codes then scroll down to the bottom of the results to see the "heavy jet" estimate.

I believe that most airline pages will show how long time the trip takes, so my bet is that the easiest would be to check there.

Call the airlines, train station, lorrie depot, river excursion or rickshaw driver.
They'll probably give more accurate information than all the 'experts' here.

Call your travel agent, mention the flight number and he will tell you. Call even if you have not booked any flight and you may get some help.
