Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex dumped me a year ago yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. Then he took me home, and when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me 'every once in awhile'. By the way, we never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. BUT, we only dated for one month, so why after one year, after HE dumped me, why does he wanna hang out and see me once in awhile? So what does he REALLY want and should I be worried?

My guess is, he realized the grass was not greener on the other side. He has regrets about dumping you and wants to be back in your life. Try the "hanging out" thing for a while and see what happens. You will get a feel for his intentions after a while. If he talks about other women with you then you can safely bet he is entering the "friend zone." If he makes it a point to never bring up other women when you are hanging out, then he may indeed be interested in getting back together.
