Don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone has things happen that didn't go as they planned. It's true that you can learn some habits that will avoid stains (like don't eat in the car, lean over the table when you are eating, put a napkin on your lap) but seriously, these things aren't a big deal if you don't make them a big deal. I think it seems like you do it more often than other people because you notice your own behavior more than other people. But believe me, the rest of us are all going around trying to cover up the mustard spots on our shirts, too.

I have 3 places I put my keys. I always put my keys, etc. in one of those same places every time. I will go out of my way to do it because I hate looking for things, particularly my keys. I always put my glasses on or leave them in the same place when I take them off. I do the same thing with my purse or the bag I take to work.
Your Yahoo ID...I have a list I have made. It's in columns. The first column is the name of the company, the second is the user ID, the third is the password, the fourth is the web address (in case I need it) and I have a 5th column for other notes I might need. I made the list on on xcell, but you could make a table or even write it out. I make a printout and store it in a safe place in case I need it for some other reason or lose on the computer somehow (computer crash, etc.). I periodically print it out and date it and if I end up with more than one copy because I forgot to throw away the old one, it's dated, so I know which is the newest.
As far as stains, I'm not as bad about that, but my mother bought herself an adult bib. I have yet to see her wear it, though.
A couple of ladies I know tuck their napkins in at their necks instead of putting it on their laps. Some of those ladies are elderly and some are just larger in the bust. Then there are those that do it because it is a nicer outfit and they don't want to stain it.
Hey, do what you have to do! Make your life less stressful, easier! And yes, some of us are a mess...some with losing things and staining things and some of us are klutzs in other areas of our lives. We're all different and we all have our gifts and abilities and we all have our klutz areas...And we are all still worthy!

De-clutter, de-clutter, de-clutter. If you don't love it get rid of it! It makes it so much easier to find things and keep things clean and tidy. Use Baby Steps as the key - five to fifteen minutes at a time as much as you have time to spare or the ability and you will soon be on top of things. Further more - store things in labelled plastic storage bags that you suck the air out, or labelled plastic storage boxes. Inventory them so that you know where you have put them. Put like things with like things.

The first time i wore my new white shirt at work my knife slipped while i was eating and i got BBQ sauce all over the front of it. Then i was wearing another new white shirt and i was getting some red wine for my guests at the house and somehow shattered the glass and got that all over my front. So i wear dark tops and drink beer instead of wine.

slow down you`re going too fast to be able to observe the world arround you and be able to appreciate the concequences of your actions, your memory will improve when you start writing every thing down that you need to remember, the key words are write it down where you, and only you can find it later when you need it . dont try to absorb everything all at once all of the time you are not a geek, quit acting like one. hope we`ve helped

I would suggest carry a note pad with you to help you remember important items or a datebook to remember important events and try avoiding white while eating if possible.

be more careful, work on your memory [ie play games that require you to remeber things], buy some shout for your clothes. Also writing things down can help you remeber better.
