Do women like to be treated like trash?

Question

I've observed that women tend to go for guys that treat them like trash (for lack of a better word). And the other night I was listening to a show on the radio with women calling in and admitting they like to be treated that way.

I have several questions: Do women like to be treated like trash? If they do does it have something to do with their childhood? Were they abused or beaten? Did their dad treat mom like a doormat so that's why they think that poor treatment is a show of love? Or is it some biological instinct that mistakes jerks for alpha males?

I don't, I like to be respected. I don't know anyone who likes it either. Must be a marginal thing.

I understand your point. I tend to go for the bad guy, but I want a guy that will respect me and be kind to me, I just really don't like the clingy-type of guy.

I do not like to be treated like trash though, I had a good childhood and was never abused or beaten and my father has always treated women with respect. So, that's probably part of the reason why I have self-respect knowing I deserve a good guy.

These type of women have a very low self esteem. That don't demand much for themselves. Some have been abused in some way. It happens all to often and then on the other hand, Don't you know that everybody in this world that has a problem of any kind is not going to take any responsibility for it, the parent gets the blame every time.
This one, typing here, does not like to be mistreated.!!
I tend to feel sorry for the underdog.
I find in observing men who treat women in a rude and
disrespectful manner, that they aren't really going anywhere in life.
My 2 daughters are married to well educated Gentlemen who treated them like Ladies. Thank God for them.

OF COURSE NOT! No one likes to be treated like trash. All the questions you asked may have something to do with the reason why women stay with the men who treat them badly. They were probably wonderful men in the beginning of the relationship and for some reason, things changed. Everyone just needs to treat others the same way they would want to be treated!

None of the woman that I know choose to be treated poorly. Some make some poor relationship choices and end up being freightened while in an abusive relationship and either fear or deny leaving as an option. It is sad that woman are treated that way and some of the time I believe that it is intergenerational and/or a learned behaviour. While other times it is merely that they have been conned to believe that their man is alright early on in the relationship and he ends up being a controlling and abusive partner. But I certainly do not believe that anyone chooses to live this way intentionally.

I say the same about men. I find the worse I treat them the better they treat me. As soon as I treat them nice they become the biggest jerk alive. I dont understand why so many people are like this and I never will. Everybody seems to want only what they dont/cant have. I dont understand that either. I have never been interested in someone who wasn't interested in me. Guys acting hard to get never interested me and never will. I cant understand this any more than you can. Women dont like being treated like trash but we do wind up staying with men who dont treat us well because as young girls we are seeking the love and approval of a man because most of us dont get it from our dads. If men want things to change, they need to change.

Normal women do NOT like being treated like trash - if they do, then it goes back to what they observed (between their parents) when the were younger. If they observe their mother being beaten all of the time (and the mother never leaves the abusive environment) then when the women begins selecting men - she will select one just like the one who beat her mother because, by her mother never leaving the abuse, she feels it is acceptable.
Women need to break this habit and seek someone who will treat them with love and respect.

Sometimes some women and men grow up reflecting upon what the seen there parents treat each other like and behave in the same fashion when their are adults. Not all people grow up to be this way a lot of people are different from their parents and never want to have relationships to be like that!

I don't wanna be treated like trash and I can't think of any other women that do either. But obviously, there are those females out there who don't know any better and feel that any "attention" from men (good or bad) is acceptable. You listed a few reasons why some women do allow themselves to be treated as such, but PLEASE understand that it does NOT apply 2 all women!

consider the source
most women do not want to be treated like trash. there may be a good arguement that some women mimic what they see.
if she comes from a household where this happens maybe that is all that they know.

If you meet a woman who does enjoy bad treatment, she is not the woman for you.
There are plenty of nice girls out there but they are not in clubs and bars.
Look in church and other groups that dont put a high premium on superficial things
