I read something that referred to someone as a "practice-girl", guys what does this term really mean?

I think you're referring to a "practice girl." Anyhow, it's a girl that guys practice kissing, making out, or in most cases, screwing. A practice girl is usually not as pretty or popular, so she'll be more willing to get attention from a guy.

I don't know first hand.
If I had to guess though....I'd say it was a girl you slept with before sleeping with anyone else, not because you like her...but as practice.

Though mean, usually it refers to a girl that you have sex with so you can get better at it, therefore you'll be decent when you get into a relationship with someone you really want to please.
