First 2 posters, that is beside the point. God didn't care that the tower would never reach Heaven, it was all about intent. Unless you acknowledge that the tower could have reached Heaven.

Probably not. I doubt the tower of Babel was as high as most skyscrapers are, so I guess God has outgrown that kind of thing.
