Can taking 8 grams of acetaminophen (1 gram is usually the normal) cause stomach bleeding? What other effects can it produce?

normally you can take two 500mg tablets every 4-6 hours

thats 1 gram every 4 hours

what if someone tood 8 grams (thats 16 pills) at the same time?

Toxic dose of paracetamol ( Acetaminophen ) is 7 gram . At this dose hepatotoxicity begins and there is only one way to stop it.

Stomoch bleeding isn't usually a symptom of acetaminophen overdose. It's a symptom of aspirin/ibuprofen/or naproxen overdose.

Liver damage is the most serious danger of acetaminophen poisoning.
