He is sad because we are his children. If you have children, don't you want them to learn and grow and become good people? That is basically what we are doing here...we are learning, growing, gaining mortal experiences and proving ourselves worthy to gain the presence back of our Heavenly Father.
He can't just "destroy evil"...YET. This time on earth is a probationary state for all of us...we all have to have the chance to be here...now of course everyone's circumstances are different but the end goal is or should be the same. To return to live with our Heavenly Father.
He WILL destroy evil, eventually Satan will be bound and there will be no more evil, sadness, sickness or anything bad.
We just have to endure until then!

This God created the evil knowing full well exactly what it would be and do! After all this God is all knowing!!
It was in this God's grand plan to create this evil and have every evil thing occur that has occured. After all how else could he kill so many and feed his massive blood lust!!!
This God doesn't give anyone the option of making a single choice. Since he knows everything there is NOTHING that we can do that he didn't know before we were created that we would do!!! But Christians say we are here to make a choice between God and Satan! CRAP!! TRY READING ROMANS 9:21 - 23 or REVELATION 17:8
Futher Note: The only use of the word freewill in the bible is in an offering to God! At no time does it say anywhere in the bible that we have the freewill to make a single choice!!!
The word FREEWILL is not even in the New Testament!!!

I don't believe in crying statues. Never seen one and even if I did I wouldn't automatically think it was God. Our faith is to be focused on Christ and not crying statures. God cares what is going on in the world, but He is allowing man his days of free reign, you can see we have messed up terribly. The day will come when God does say enough is enough and Christ will return as the strong one that you desire to see. Just be sure that you are ready to meet this strong one. God is patient and is giving people every opportunity to accept Him.

The Bible says that his is going to destroy evil. That is what we Christians are waiting for. He will keep his promise in His own time.
Rev 21:1,5). "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea...He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!"
The new earth will be utterly sinless.

If he is the ultimate creator of everything, and if he knows everything, meaning he knew what would happen in the future, how is it possible that he can be displease with what he did? What could he possible be sad about? If he knew what was going to happen before he made everything, then everything that happens is exactly as he expected/meant to happen... God would be one crazy dude to deliberately make things that he' cry about... But yet, he is also supposed to be totally benevolent, so he cannot be the creator of this world if there are bad things in it...
Clearly, no god as the bible describes exists.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
