When Rwandan's were killing each other, it wasn't about religion, it was about ethnicity. The world stood by and did nothing.
Much of the violence in Africa has got nothing to do with religion, but everything to do with ethnicity and tribalism... and it all boils down to politics.
In Sudan, its because the southern part of sudan is oil-rich.
Did you know that there were French troops in Rwanda in the nineties when the genocide took place? They did nothing, nothing to prevent 800,000 people from being massacred.
Nobody did anything. Its not about religion --religion is always AN EXCUSE. Its all about money.
And for OldFootloose, the guy who posted on this question angry about the politican who took his oath on a Quran... did you know that it was THOMAS JEFFERSON's Quran? Get some knowledge people, and don't forget about the Crusades, the Holocaust, the millions of African's who were killed during slavery, and the virtual WIPING out of the American Indians.

the place it is, darfur, and the people are muslims, i get my info from a man from africa. also in the 90's in rwanda people were killing each other on tribal lines, while the UN sat idle.
