Ok, please help me!!! I live next to this boy and I have known him since I was 2. He is a wicked nice guy. We are in the same high school and are both currently single. All of my friends say that we should go out. My friends that are guys say he likes me and wants to go out with him. If he asks, what should I say?? Serious answers only. I do like him!!!

Of course yes.
you know eachother well enough to trust him, he seems like a good guy, you're in the same school and he seems to like you.
Be adventerous, be bold, why wait for him to ask YOU out, ask HIM out, or he may never know how you feel, and if you like the guy, i say, go for it.it seems like a good bet.
there are no better boyfriends then those you've known for a long time, i've been dating a best friend of mine for 3 years, and i'm still quite happy with him [fascinating concept!]
Take a chance and take the first step, if it's meant to be, he;ll follow, if not , dont despair, there are a million men out there!
Rejections dear, are not a fault of anyones, just of preference and situation.

Going out with your neighbour is similar to going out with a co-worker or classmate. At the end of the day, when the relationship has gone sour and hard feelings exist (don't tell me there won't be any, there are ALWAYS hard feelings in a break-up) you will still have to see that person around on a daily basis. Not helpful when you're trying to move on with your life.

If he asks then say yes. You like him so why not? You don't have to wait for him to ask. You could just ask him if he wants to go to a movie or something. Woman can ask guys out. A lot of guys like it.

I knew of a similar story. They grew together. She was beautiful, and he was a womanizer. When she refused him sex, he married her, got what he wanted and cheated on her. She got divorce, and hurt moved on. Such relations do not last.
