It's been proven a good way to gain weight is to drink 3 glasses of vitamin D milk a day. It worked for my son he was so thin they were threatening to call social services on me (It didn't matter that it runs in my husband's family) Anyway that worked for me. You can also use half and half on your cereal in the morning. Good luck and be careful. You don't want to gain too much weight.

Rich but lean should be the key to your protein intake. Ice cream is full of fats and cholesterol, so thats a no go. You will have a heart attack b4 you put on muscle. The recommended daily values say you should have at least 50g of protein in your diet. To get it, I eat beans, edamame. they are packed with the p stuff. Lean poultry (turkey & chicken), fish (like tuna and shrimp) and and you can always skim or lowfat milk. The other thing is, you will have to hit the gym. For all of this to work, you may need to see a nutritionist in addition to a personal trainer to get great results fast. Good luck.
