Should the UK and Ireland RE-INSTATE Customs Control at Ports of Entry in order to combat Drug and Gun smuggling across our international borders?.

More to control Terrorist aspects of Guns/ Explosives/Weapons and as much of Drug profits end up in (very) oranised crime groups; the more protected the British Borders are from Europe (yes we are a part but have a Sea Border with Mainland) then the longer the British Police on the beat are likely to be able to remain unarmed - unlike the rest of Europe.
Once Turkey becomes a full member of the EU we will have a land border with Iraq, which will make life very interesting indeed....

Custom Control should be re-instated on the European Borders, especially the borders between France and Spain These are major routes for drug smugglers and people trafficking and would prevent a lot of problems coming our way

I would say that of every 3 trips I take to amsterdam I am stopped and checked by customs on 2 of them when i return to the UK

All ports and airports should be controlled by the army. Defend our borders.its the best way to stop Drugs guns and immigrants

without a doubt, this country has become a safe haven for those who wish to take advantage of our generous nature, that's why so many want to come here and if they are caught and brought before the courts they know that some P.C. lawyer will not only get them off the charge, but probably get then compensation as well, all courteous of the tax payer.

Yes but it would mean paying higher taxes for the government to be able to do this and to continue skimming money of the tax man so they can buy what they want

the government brings in most of the drugs or they work along side people that bring the drugs in . many CIA and MI6 have gone public on this for years so who cares about what your saying stop the government first.
