I have a very deep problem i believe in god because i fear going to hell but i dont believe in the bible 100% There are things in the bible that just couldnt happen such as jesus carrying the cross all that distance (crosses usually weighed alot) after being whipped but i dont know if i believe in god or not. if i dont beleive 100% does that mean i am an atheist.

You sound more like an agnostic. If you are not sure whether you believe in god or not then you're agnostic. Atheists don't believe in god. If you do believe in god but just don't find the Bible credible, that does not make you an atheist or agnostic, just a non-Christian. Maybe some other religion would suit you better then or you could believe in god without following a particular religion.

This is exactly the problem many atheists have with religion. The "i believe in god because i fear going to hell" part.
If you genuinely believe in God, you're not an atheist, but if you don't believe the Bible then you're not a Christian either.

No you're not an atheist.
Call yourself an agnostic. Come to think of it you could even be a deist or a watered down theist... but you're certainly not an atheist until you can accept that the chance god exists is about the same as the tooth-fairy.

As long as he is thinking about god it's good, why don't we solve his problem instead of criticizing he is reverting.
Look buddy, this universe was not made by human being, there should be some Creator, who commands the entire universe, in complete harmony and fixed laws e.g. rising of sun, birth of child, stars around you, orbital movements of heavenly bodies etc.
Where material science fails, than spiritualism is aroused.
Search the answer in a Authentic Holy book, I will advise you to read translation of Holy Qura'n with understanding & consultation I am sure you will find solution to your problems.

Atheist means no god.
Agnostic means you don't know if there is or not.
If you beleive in god/devil/heaven/hell, but not 100% of the bible, you are a christian.

I agree with you about the Bible. For instance, how was a child born (AKA Mary and Jesus) without there being sex involved? I'm not atheist, I just declare myself non-religious.

you might be agnostic like i am do you feel that there's not enough evidence that god exists or not if so you might be agnostic and not atheist as atheists don't believe in god or heaven and hell or the devil or religion at all they believe in science and evolution
