What is your natural color? If your natural color is to dark you might have to highlight it with bleach or a high lift tint.

You need to have a toner put through the hair such as a violet semi toner. This is best done at a reputable salon. This will take out the brassiness. Alternatively ash will cover the red but is a bit dull. Whatever you do dont put more chemical on until you have had a consultation with a better hairdresser then who did this to you. Strawberry blonde, or ginger is a lovely colour anyway

Either she didnt leave the color on long enough, or she used the wrong product, but she shouldnt have let you leave unhappy.
The simplest thing you could try, would be a purple toned shamp & cond. Depending on the condition of your hair now, you could try having a few foils (highlights) done just through the top to lift the color a little more, or just buy a semi-permanent (rinse) that is ash based just to calm down the strawberry overtone. Good luck!

I don't really think Ash Blonde would be too wonderful because it has a greenish cast to is. Best thing to do is to check out the hair sample colors and pick the particular cast that is right for you. If you like the reddish coloring to your hair, then get it, but I don't exactly know what results you are looking for. Obviously green is the opposite to red - but it all depends on what you are looking to achieve. Best thing to do is to visit your local beauty supply and let them help you. Hope this helps.
