Muscle does weigh more than fat. From what you have said, you sound to be in great shape for your height. If you want to pack on a few healthy pounds go for some muscle. I'm not saying for you to bulk up and look masculine, just tone yourself and get a sleek sexy look. Do some tricep exercises, light bicep curls, and keep doing the sqats with light weight. The tricep exercises will give you that nice toned look in your arms...but keep the weight light.

Don't do as much cardio excercises. Running Etc... Instead use weights to work out the specific areas that you are trying to get fit. Also find a good diet or protein shake that will allow you to maintain or gain a little weight.

Lift weights and up your calorie intake. You might want to try some weight gaining drinks from the health food store as a convenient way to increase calories. When lifting weights fewer repetitions with lots of weight will help bulk you up.

Try resistance training with weights. Heavier weights will build muscle and being a women it's almost impossible to build too much muscle (we aren't capable of getting a bulky man body) By building muscle with weights, you will add a little weight to your frame without adding cellulite. Good luck!

Eat lots of protein! Also, do muscle building exercises. Building muscle will add the pounds and those muscles need protein. You may loose a few pounds in the very beginning but stick with it and you'll gain muscle mass and muscles weigh more than fat.

Good luck!

weight lifting makes you gain weight, because an equal volume of muscle weighs more than the same volume of fat. Aerobics makes you lose fat and weight.

Muscle weighs more than fat. If you weight train to build muscle eventually you will gain muscle weight and weigh a little more.

It takes time - be patient.
