I went thru because I thought I was in the way. I live in MO, st. louis.........will I get a ticket and how can I check to see if I am getting one. Who should I contact. I was not in the same lane as the funeral people but I got confused because I thought the police on his motorcycle beep for me to get out the way!

Don't worry about it. If you get a ticket, you can easily challenge it at the court hearing, as there was an unusual circumstance. You had good intentions any reasonable judge would throw a ticket out.

While it is possible that you could be cited, it is highly unlikely. (You don't mention a camera at the intersection, so I assume there wasn't one.) You could contact the police that were there (the right precinct or city) and explain it to them first, but I would not do that as it will draw unwanted attention to you. If one of the escort officers was going to cite you, he'd have most likely stopped and written down your license plate number. Bottom line - don't worry about it. Happy New Year!

If you havent recieved a ticket right away you wont be getting one, if you do just notify the attorney general in your county, they will set things straight, good people doing what they believe a police officer is telling them, are not guilty of any crime, just guilty of not understanding his order. dont worry you are not a bad guy.

If you do get one, I think you can protest it if you explain the situation.

if they didn't stop you..you shouldn't get it.. and they know how confusing it is with funerals
