you just keep on going instead of am and pm. so you just go threw all 24 hours instead of 12 with am pm.

Military time is quite simple actually. For example midnight starts at 0000hours each hour adds 100 to the 0000 so if its 3pm then military time would be 1500hours. Simply add 12 to the time for PM hours and subtract 12 for AM hours. so if its 7 am. 1200 minus 7 is 0700hours. and minutes of hours is just adding the minutes after the hours so 7:14am would be 0714hours. I do not think you are referring to stockade/jail time.. The reference to the clock?? Military clock is a twenty four hour time. At twelve midnight the time starts at 0001( one minute after midnight) One in the morning is 0100. Take it from there...
