i have a car ive just found out it has hpi on it what can i do

hpi means high pressure injection, if your car is diesel thats why it has hpi on it becuase the engine uses high pressure to ignite the fuel as opposed to spark plugs.

The hpi check covers things like still being on finance,being a write off or being stolen. It also covers colour change's and change of registration number. I work at a car dealer and the amount of people who are driving cars that have been written off and don't know about it is unbelievable.

How did you find out it was on the register, most people find out when they try and part exchange the car at a dealer, who will usually tell you what the problem is. You can and should do the check yourself before buying a car there are many places that will do it for you. try the AA or RAC.

It means the car is dripped up(hire purchase} clear it or lose it.
