I have an HDTV 32' LCD TV Model # VSC-32V1, I uses f-type connector (75 Ohm coaxial cable) (round). We use cable service from TIme Warner, No Digital cable due to cost of extra money for it per month. My LCD tv have an built-in tv tuner to recieve HD ATSC, but the color on it aren't very crisp and clear, sort of fuzzy grainy look. I tried to use sharpness option, set it to Strong, it s help but unforuntley it now look smeared, and contract and brighness are no help. I have an amperifier device used with it due to two vcr (VHS) machines, I copy some shows which is sometime on same time. What the soultion to fix my fuzzy grainy image?
DO I have to buy those HD digital reciever to fix the images? Is HDTV tuner different than the reciever?
Also by the way, I need an way for accessing my remote control service and instruction for it too, its not in the manual book.

you are recieving regular cable resolution . run the cable thru the vcrs the last vcr use the composite out(yellow red and white)to your tv.instead of the coax.then use the antenna you have (if you have one,or buy a new one) to hook right up to the rf in the back of the tv. that way you have a straight feed .from the antenna and then you can whatch cable on an input channel and then whatch local hd from the arial antenna. you have to go into the menu and settings to change to the arial to scan for local channels. a hd reciever is a box from cable or satelite company that decodes the hd signal from them and sends it to you tv. you dont need one if you dont have hd cable or satelite, you would need their hd box any way.

In most all cases, if your TV is less than 40 inches, it will be an LCD.. 40 inches or over, you can choose an LCD or plasma. I would always recommend plasma for many reasons! First, fast response...No lag or blurr on sports or gaming..Even LCD with a 120 cycle refresh rate cannot eliminate the slow response of an LCD. Life: The life,(and power use) of a plasma is about the same, approx. 120,000 hours. Plasma also provides good, bright color and excellent blacks, along with a very wide viewing angle..And forget all those old stories about 'burn-in'..Those issues have been addressed. Look carefully in stores, and ask questions..Ask the experts, and you will see that plasma is far superior in performance and speed than LCD..

Dude, you're not getting a hi-def feed. You can have all the fancy digital decoders in the world. If you don't have a hi-def feed, you're not going to have hi-def television. Hook up a DVD player through component cables and see how it looks. Good? Then there's nothing wrong with your television.

You need to get digital cable....plus the HD channels....to get HD television. Until then, you get crappy old regular definition television.

To get HD channels you also need a HD reciever and digital cable. To get local channels in HD you need a HD-antenna which will be free since it won't be provided by your cable company.
