Absynth is a green menthol alcohol which is often served on fire. It is mainly found in the Czech Republic and it has a very high alcohol %. I dont like it myself however the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh was a big fan of it. It is well known that the drink can cause people to act crazy when under the influence of it and it is often said that Van Gogh cut of his air while being drunk on the stuff. Its illegal in the US due ot the effect it has on people.
By the way, I have lived in Bangkok for some time and I never saw it anywhere. I dont think you will be able to buy it anywhere in Thailand.

I don't think they have it but if you're looking for a toxic drunk. Then check out Mekong Whiskey. Its dirt cheap you mix it with coke and sometimes Red Bull. You order a small mickey with an ice bucket and a few bottles of coke. You can either make mixed drinks. I've sometimes been with a few mates and we just poured all the stuff into one big bucket and each person grabbed a straw and drank

I have not seen it either, I know it's in Scotland though! Duh. Anyway, I had that while in England from a friend who had bought it in Scotland and it was crazy. Absolutely crazy how potent that stuff is. Anyway, just wanted to answer that I've experienced it, and my stomach and liver is still yelling at me for that, even though it was 6 years ago.
