i am a christian and i find the muslim religion incredible. there just seems to be such a connection and it seems so unique. the language and their religious texts and practices are so different from christianity. it takes so much dedication to pray at specific times 5 times a day.

I'm Catholic. What I admire about others are
Judaism: Lovely old faith filled with wonderful traditions
Hinduism: What I have seen looks nice
Buddhism: Aways seemed peaceful and quiet to me
Atheism: Ok, from what I've seen here, there aren't much good benefits, but I have a friend off line who is nice, so that's the only nice thing I can think of.
Islam: I've met some nice people who make up for the media's portrayal and the radicals
Paganism/Wicca: Again, I don't have much to say about this, just that I've met some nice people.
Other Christian religions: I love them. It's always nice to discuss God with someone who understands my POV.

I admire the commitment that is practiced. For example in some religions they practice their traditions, no matter how inconvenient it may be, such as stopping to say their prayers. Another would be those who go door to door, no matter how many times the doors are slammed in their faces. I admire those who fully commit to that which they believe in, despite the oppositions or inconveniences that make their lives more difficult.

I admire the rastafarians for sticking to a vegetarian diet, striving to live a natural, healthy life, and promoting racial equality. I also admire them for having the sense to see that the bible has been manipulated and used to control people throughout history.
The vast majority of religions promote racism, make women 2nd class citizens, teach hate and violence, push beliefs onto people etc. Rasta does not teach these negative ideas. I am in admiration of how this religion that does not oppress anyone.

I'm Catholic, but was once a Southern Baptist. I wish that more folks in the Catholic Church read their Bibles more often. When I was Baptist, we'd have Bible studies all of the time. There are a few Catholic groups out there who do study the Bible, but they are far and few between. As a former Protestant, I know that one of the easiest ways to argue with a Catholic is to quote scripture. There's plenty in the Bible that makes the Catholic Church look horrible if taken in the wrong context. However, if Catholics studied their Bibles a little bit more, they'd find that defending their faith is rather easy to do.

I admire nothing about "religion" but I do admire people who have altruistic, kind, loving minds, and minds that use logic, and strength enough to speak up for what they believe in.

Don't confuse religions with faith or with God.
What I admire is the true fundamentalist, the one who can trust the Creator enough that they only need to utter one prayer "Thy will be done."
All else is something outside of God.
I admire the person of great faith who does not try to force a view of God on others that suits their own agenda.

People who follow their religious beliefs and use them to better their lives and the lives of those around them. I worked for a devout Christian couple for a while and got to see how they used their principles to run their business in an ethical, fair, generous, and ultimately prosperous way. I respect them deeply for that.
